Mr Van Biljon is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sanlam and member of the Risk and Compliance Committee, the Customer Interest Committee and the Chair of the Digital Transformation and Information Technology Forum.
Mr Van Biljon is a director of DataEq Ltd, TallOrder (Pty) Ltd, AgrigateOne Ltd and Clickatell Inc. As an expert in technology and technology management, Mr Van Biljon has more than 30 years’ experience in international business fintech, cloud computing, and the broader information technology industry. He was the Co-Founder of Mosaic Software. and the leader in the team that created Amazon’s Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), and Co-CEO as well as CTO of Takealot.com. He also serves as an advisor to a number of technology businesses.
Mr Van Biljon holds a BSc Hons in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town.
