Mr Kruger is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Sanlam and member of the Audit, Actuarial and Finance Committee, the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Chair of the Customer Interest Committee.
Mr Kruger is a member of various boards and governance forums, with in-depth experience in financial services, actuarial, insurance, and business. He is a Non-Executive Director of various companies including Gen Re, Granor Passi, Chair of GWK, VKB Beleggings, Chair of Brenn-O-Kem, and Afrimat. He is the former Group CEO of Momentum Metropolitan Holdings and has served as Chief Actuary of Momentum.
Mr Kruger is a Chartered Director (CD(SA)) and holds a BCom degree in Mathematics (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries (FFA) and a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA). He also completed an Advanced Management Programme at Oxford University.
